Description
Where do feelings come from? How to deal with them? Where can they can finally take us? The Bhagavad-gita, one of the world’s oldest spiritual texts, imparts wisdom on feelings.
Children learn that everyone has feelings because each one of us is a spirit soul and the soul has feelings. By listening to our feelings we can understand them and learn to express them in healthy ways. The Bhagavad-gita teaches us how to deal with our feelings so we can live the beautiful life that’s meant for us.
Feelings are important. If we’re feeling confused or afraid, angry or frustrated, we may do things we regret. Just as we are not our material body, so also we are not our material feelings. In other words, just because I might feel envious or angry does not mean I have to act in an envious or angry way. I can share my feelings with someone I trust by talking about, writing about, or drawing them. Then I’ll feel lighter and able to relate to others in a healthy, loving way.
