1. Introduction and Purpose

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for international shipments sent under the Postal Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) service. This service is designed to provide a seamless and transparent delivery experience for our international customers by ensuring that all customs duties, taxes, and import fees are paid by the sender at the time of purchase. This eliminates any surprise costs for the recipient upon delivery.

This policy details the responsibilities of both the sender (our company) and the recipient (the customer) to ensure a clear understanding of the DDP shipping process.

2. Policy Statement

All international orders shipped via our designated DDP service will have all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees prepaid by us for the selected countries above. The total amount collected at checkout will be the final price for the customer, with no additional charges due upon delivery. Our commitment is to provide a "door-to-door" delivery service that is simple, transparent, and free of unexpected fees for our customers.

3. Scope

This policy applies to all international shipments where the customer has selected and paid for a DDP shipping option at checkout. This service may be available for select countries and will be clearly indicated during the checkout process.

4. Key Responsibilities

4.1. Sender's Responsibilities (Our Company):

  • Calculation and Collection of Duties and Taxes: We will calculate the applicable import duties, taxes (including Value Added Tax - VAT), and any other customs fees based on the items in the order and the destination country's regulations. These charges will be clearly itemised and included in the total order cost at checkout.
  • Customs Documentation: We are responsible for preparing and providing all necessary customs documentation to ensure a smooth clearance process.
  • Payment of Fees: We will remit all collected duties, taxes, and fees to the relevant customs authorities in the destination country through our designated postal or courier service.
  • Shipment and Tracking: We will arrange for the transportation of the goods to the customer's specified delivery address and provide a tracking number for the shipment.
  • Risk and Liability: We assume all risks and costs associated with the transportation of the goods, including any loss or damage in transit, until the point of final delivery to the customer.

4.2. Recipient's Responsibilities (The Customer):

  • Accurate Information: The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information. Inaccurate details may lead to delivery delays or failures, for which we cannot be held responsible.
  • Acceptance of Delivery: The customer is responsible for being available to receive the shipment at the provided address.
  • Unloading: Upon delivery, the customer is responsible for the unloading of the goods.

5. Recent Changes to U.S. Shipments

In accordance with the United States executive order effective August 29, 2025, the previous de minimis exemption for goods valued at $800 or less has been eliminated. Consequently, nearly all commercial shipments to the United States are now subject to import duties and taxes. Our DDP service for U.S.-bound shipments ensures that these new charges are handled by us, providing a continued seamless experience for our American customers.

6. Limitations and Exclusions

  • Service Availability: The DDP service may not be available for all destinations. If DDP is not an option for your country, you will be notified at checkout, and alternative shipping arrangements (such as Delivered Duty Unpaid - DDU) will be offered, where the recipient is responsible for all import charges.
  • Prohibited Items: This policy does not apply to items that are restricted or prohibited from import into the destination country. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items they are purchasing are permitted for import.
  • Customs Inspections: While we will handle all standard customs procedures, we are not responsible for delays caused by extensive customs inspections or holds.

7. Returns and Refunds

For information regarding returns and refunds for international orders shipped under the DDP policy, please refer to our separate "Returns and Refunds Policy." Please note that original shipping costs and any prepaid duties and taxes are non-refundable.

8. Policy Review

This policy is subject to change in response to evolving international trade regulations and postal service offerings. Any amendments will be updated on our website.
